Our collection and use of Member information

A. Collection of information

1. We collect user-submitted personal information, including but not limited to name, e-mail address, and birthdate, in order to verify new accounts and send notifications regarding the Service. We also collect additional data that is included in Member profiles, including without limitation: occupation, interests, school affiliations, gender, and location. This additional data may be available to other Members and/or the general public for viewing.

2. We also collect non-personally identifiable information, including IP address and browser type.

3. We do not collect or maintain information on the Service from users whom we actually know to be under 18 years of age, and no part of our Service is structured to attract anyone under 18.

B. Use of personally identifiable information submitted to CityMommy

To facilitate the Service, CityMommy displays to other Members and visitors some of the personal information that we request. CityMommy displays Member profile information, profile photo, and username, to enable us to personalize Members' CityMommy.com experience and to enable them to invite new friends and locate other Members with similar interests. We use your e-mail address to send notifications relating to CityMommy.com, including for example, to confirm when one Member has requested to add you as a friend, to provide notice that a Member has received a message or comment from you, and to invite new friends to join CityMommy.com. In addition, to facilitate locating friends, you can search for particular Members by using their full name or e-mail address.

C. Use of non-personally identifiable information

We use your IP address and browser type for the general administration of the Site.

D. Sharing of collected information with third parties

We do not sell, rent, share, trade, or give away any of your personally identifiable information except when we have your permission, in cases where you are expressly informed otherwise, or under the following circumstances:

In certain circumstances, we may share profile information and aggregate usage information in a non-personally identifiable fashion to advertisers or other third parties for the purpose of delivering more targeted advertising, products, and services to you. In these instances, we will never disclose information that will be used to personally identify you.

Communications to non-Members

When you choose to use the CityMommy.com "Invite friends" feature, you are prompted to input a friend's e-mail address. We will automatically send an e-mail to that address, with a message inviting the recipient to join the CityMommy.com community. We store the e-mail address for the purpose of automatically adding the invitee to your friends list upon sign-up, and also to send reminder notifications of the invitation.

Commenting or posting on CityMommy.com
